The lodge itself was surrounded by beautiful bush, offering lots of privacy. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the homemade treats provided by the owner, including yogurt, dessert, and muffins. The hot tub was a nice bonus too. So close to the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Lovely bush setting adds to the charm. The hosts were incredibly friendly, offering delicious homemade baking and a generous supply of muesli and fresh fruit salad for breakfast. They were also helpful with taxi bookings and accommodating last-minute requests.
The motel itself was a bit old and shabby, despite recent renovations. There were some areas that smelled moldy and the access to and from the motel was challenging due to a steep driveway and busy road.

We got great value for our money with a fantastic room and a huge, comfy king size bed. The location was beautiful, surrounded by lush forests and trees, and the hosts made us feel right at home. They even delivered homemade afternoon tea and breakfast right to our room!
The only little thing that could make breakfast even better would be a wider selection of options.

We had a fantastic stay at a lodge on Waiheke Island, surrounded by lush vegetation. Our unit had a small double bed, but that didn't bother us because everything else was perfect. The complimentary afternoon coffee and homemade sweets were a delicious surprise. The location was ideal, with a small beach nearby and lovely walks to explore. I highly recommend this lodge for a relaxing getaway.

The friendly and attentive staff at the lodge made the stay enjoyable. They were always available and willing to help with any questions or concerns. The location of the lodge was also great, being just a short walk to the beach and close to the main town area. Plus, the afternoon tea with freshly prepared treats was a delightful surprise and a perfect way to unwind after a long day.
The outside areas of the lodge were in need of some attention. The bathroom window had cobwebs on the outside and the view was of a dirty and moldy roof.
